PowerPoint is undoubtedly the leading presentation editor in the World. However, you may find some difficulties when trying to publish the resulting files in the web. Size is just one of the impediments as web browsers are not capable of displaying this type of files effectively. On the other hand, SWF Files are usually small enough to be published in the Internet as animations or applets offering different levels of interactivity.
PPT-to-Flash Converter offers to combine the advantages of an easy-to-use presentation creator, like PowerPoint, and those of very light multimedia format by allowing converting PPTs into Flash files (SWF).
Although its interface is very easy to use, you can choose to use the available wizard. First, you can create a list of files to convert. The second step is to select the publish location, from local disk, FTP or email. Additional parameters, as target folder, FTP location or SMTP options would be necessary accordingly. A set of converting options will let you decide on whether you want to convert video or audio, render effects or use slide transitions. They also include setting the quality, frame rate, scale factors, etc.
If you prefer not to use the wizard, you can use the standard interface instead. The operations will be quite similar to those in the wizard: adding files, setting conversion options and converting.
- It supports PPTX format
- It keeps all transitions and effects
- It is a little pricy
